Hi, I'm Anne,
Handkntting is my lifelong specialty. I design and produce quality handknits for sale.
I have been knitting since childhood and my philosophy is that knitting is not just simply making garments, it is wearble art which expresses the essence and personality of both the wearer and the knitter.
This is my philosophy. Knitting has fascinated me throughout my life. I always work to perfect my techniques by attending classes, workshops and conventions.
In addition, I spend time networking with other knitters. I design and work with entrelacs, mitered squares and other geometric shapes and colors using whole arrays of interesting and beautiful yarns. Knitting is infinite and can be done in an infinite number of ways.
I am a member of the Central Maryland Knitting Guild and two other Baltimore/Washington knitting guilds. I am also a member of The Knitting Guild Association (TKGA), and have been involved in the
Knit-Out on the Mall in Washington DC sponsored by the Capital Knitters and Crocheters and the Craft Yarn Council. Some of our service projects include knitting hats for babies, Project Linus blankets, and knitting for the troops overseas.
I have a B.A. Degree in Art and Design from Briarcliff College.
On this site, I may include more pictures of my knitting.
I am always open to new ideas and glad to hear from other knitters.
Please let me know what you think of this site. The Central Maryland Knitting Guild also has a blog.

I am currently getting ready to send a whole lot of
knitted and crocheted squares to Warm Up America.
They are left over from last year, and our guild did not have the time to put them together. WUA takes
sections, partial afghans and whole ones. Hope this
helps!
I also need to clean out and go through my yarn
stash!! You never know what you'll find!

I'd like to add Central Maryland Knitting Guild's
blog to this blog. http://centralmdknittingguild.blogspot.com/
Maybe this will work
Hooray! Tonight is Swap Night at the Knitting Guild Meeting. One of my favorite meetings. I'm bringing lots of orphan yarns from various sources. Maybe it will be adopted by some loving knitter.
We're also having a paper bag swap to use at a future meeting. Whatever is left goes to the Womens Reformatory in Ohio.
One knitter's trash is another knitter's treasure.
Happy Knitting gals! Have fun with our yarns.
